It has been ages since I shot film! I bought a $15 Fuji DL-400 Tele
camera a few weeks ago. We have a ton of expired slide film in the
fridge so over the last few weeks I've been playing around with that.
The cheapest, quickest way to get it developed is to cross-process it.
That means they develop the slide film in the same chemical bath as they
would normal film. It throws off the colour balance and saturates it,
giving it the eerie look you see here. I don't love it, but hey, it's
what's available right now. I am really looking forward to shooting more with film over the coming months.
